I’ve been in therapy since Oct 2020. Been on antidepressants since Jan 2021. They’ve helped my depression & anxiety immensely. I’ve been on vacation and my therapist has well for the past few weeks, so we haven’t been meeting consistently. We’ve been having weekly sessions since Oct. During this time I realized I don’t have a need for therapy anymore. I’m using BetterHelp which is quite pricey. I’m considering quitting the service. But it feels a bit scary letting my therapist know…continued

Also discussed ahead when we would have our last session. And my therapist said I can reach out in the future if I need to. I hope your therapist would be happy that you are doing better to go off of therapy and I'm sure they will.

Therapy isn't a one and done thing for most people. You may want to do therapy later in life, and that's okay.

helpful

..know that I am quitting therapy. Anyone have experience doing this? How do you frame the conversation? It’s also scary thinking about the fact if I do start suffering from anxiety again, I won’t have someone at the convenience of my fingerprints to get help from. But I just cannot justify paying hundreds of dollars every month for once in a while sessions.

I would frame it as, your therapist has done their job successfully and you have seen the improvements you were looking for :) the point isn’t to be in therapy forever!

Hi Sharks
I am 25 years old with in hand salary of 1L(just from last month) and i want to buy a term insurance plan. My questions are:
1. Is it wise to take 2 plans of term insurance one with return of 60 years and another without return of 80 years of each 1cr.
2. Is it wise to include health riders in insurance plan to claim for 80d or just chose health insu
3. How much one can ideally shell out for insurance per month (both term and health) for self in terms of percentage of monthly income.

Just wanted to share this with people who would understand. Had 4 IEP meetings last week. When the case manager asked one mother if she had any concerns she said her only concern was that her kindergarten son with autism loved me so much she was afraid of him being promoted and being out of my room. I told her not to worry, in our program I will have him for 2 more years. Boy that made me feel good.

It’s hard to understand COVID-19 rates of infection where I’m at or was, and the contracts was not inline with corporate ideals at least not in the IT sector. Their ideals was radical and the spread of harmful information on past events to prevent ethnicities to get vaccinated was alarming. It has highest infection rate in private sector. Don’t know death rates was strictly remote and put on non-sanctioned project NDA wasn’t signed and never knew until it came down the grapevine.
