Got invited for the second round at Bain & Company at a EU office. Feedback was strong business sense and strong/fast math, but lacked structure. Any helpful tip? I’m interviewing in 2 weeks. Also if anyone is open for practicing cases, send me a msg!

I had my first few rounds of Technical interview at Accenture couple of days back.
In today's HR interview, the HR tells me that we can't proceed with my interview since the amount of CTC they've fixed for my level (Level 11) is lesser than what I'm already earning.
During the pre interview round, the HR had offered me my expected CTC.
I don't understand why someone would do that.

Wanted thoughts on this situation. I accepted an offer (154k cash + 18k equity a year) from Apple in Austin start mid Oct = 172k TC in Austin.

Chime reached out and I interviewed. I received an offer for 150k base + 10% bonus (165k total cash) + RSUs over 4 years (330k over 4 year) = 247k remote NY

I’m torn - FAANG on resume vs Pre IPO. Austin vs Remote (from NY would relocate with Wife). Wish chime was more $ and it would be easier.

What do you do to prep for an interview with the hiring manager? If it’s a new industry for you, do you research applicable laws/regulations?

So I haven’t had an official interview, but I forwarded my resume to the dept head for an internal job posting. A day later she asked my salary requirements I gave them to her and have heard nothing back. Do I follow up? Do I be patient? I haven’t had to interview for a job in 10 years so I’m rusty at what I should do next.

So I recently started a position with Fox. When it was presented to me in interview, I was told I would be working aligned with Fox Sports & Entertainment, not so much News. Now that I’m here, I’m seeing everything I’ll be doing is with the News team & makes me uncomfortable. No diversity, outdated software & process.
Financially, it’s the best position I been in. But mentally in this environment, it’s depressing & slow. Nothing innovative or engaging. What would you do?

Been through my 5th on-demand video interview, and it's it's terrible again. I can't seem to become friends with this on-demand video interviews and I'm loosing my confidence. More and more companies are using this to screen out individuals and I can't to seem to get this right. It's like I know all how to do my job well but it's the fear of this video interview that panics me and breaks me during my interview.

Feeling completely uninspired by my current career choice (transaction consulting, 3 years post MBA). It obviously pays well, but I feel there must be something more meaningful out there.
