You bro sounds like an a-hole. Get outta your parents place! I’m happy to hear you’re taking ownership of your mental well being by getting out of an anxiety inducing setting - that takes courage.

Siblings can be so mean. Ignore him, you're doing whats best for you and it sounds like you're doing the right thing. If you need to, block him. My sister can trigger me in a single text (she bullied me daily when growing up) so I end up blocking her for my own sanity. Not everyone knows how painful it is having a mean sibling :(

I work 8+ hour shifts in the office as we are an essential business where masks are required at all times. Has anyone else had the experience of wearing a good mask at work and getting excruciating headaches at work that last for a few hours after work? I've already had an isolation period so it's not Covid, but I'm thinking it might be the higher levels of carbon monoxide, as I've tried wearing a different mask and did not have the same problem.

For the people claiming Joe Biden is “hiding”. Where do you expect him to go? He’s not going to go throw a rally because he’s not dumb enough to kill his own voters by spreading Covid and encouraging people not to social distance. Where else did you expect to see him, that you didn’t?

For those that have flown into the city and got a covid test before and after arriving, did you need the result from the first test before landing? I know that the test needs to be within three days of the flight, but the place I’ll be going for the test seems to be getting results returned anywhere between 1-4 days, and I’m worried the results won’t be available until after I depart.

3rd year corporate associate. Offered $30k signing bonus to join a top 40 AmLaw100. All other comp is great. Eligible for the full back half of the Covid special bonus and pro rated hours for pro rated bonus for rest of year. I’ve seen $50k-$75k signing bonuses thrown around on here. Should I open negotiations with the internal recruiter to cite that my peers are getting offered twice the signing bonus at the same level/experience? Non-NYC market.

Curious, are attorneys taking cases to sue hospitals and staff that the family members claim have ‘wrongly’ intubated unvaccinated COVID patients? As in they should not have been intubated? Not work related but idk where to ask this. We’ve been invited to our first post Covid cookout. It’s at my husband’s former colleagues place so we don’t the hosts too well but we know there are not going to be any kids so mostly a grown up football party. What would bring to it? Because of the current scenario I’m skeptical of bringing my home cooked dip.

Hi fishes, I am currently working with a Top medical device Org but currently there is no learning & no scope of growth here. Will my profile be hampered when working with startup?

I accepted a new job, they said PTO was “generous.” I find out it’s 19 days a year of PTO (which includes sick days). I have two young children and we like to vacation 1-2x a year (no more than a few days away each time). Am I crazy that this is pretty limited time off? 8 of the normal holidays off during the year (working the week between Christmas and NYE). Thoughts? I dont know if lack of PTO is a good reason to back out, is it?
