I interviewed with them once, and almost all recruiters start as a contractor, where you make a pretty high base and bonus (to offset because you don’t get the salesforce benefits until you are perm) then once you are converted, your base actually lowers because you are now getting the benefits. Overall I wasn’t blown away by the career path or by the compensation overall.
I was referred by a VP for a recruiting role at Salesforce, and I have a great resume. Even after he followed up, they wouldn’t talk to me. It was strange! I recommend networking into the TA org there. I assume they only hire people that they know.
Call me! I’m hiring Salesforce recruiters
I would connect with a few Salesforce Recruiters asf they're hiring a lot right now. HOWEVER please know that Recruiters come in usually as a contract first. If you're converted, you'll also most likely be paid hourly, only given 15 days PTO (including sick time), while those who are salary get unlimited time off. Typically only Recruiting Leadership or VERY senior level recruiters are hourly (think like 10+years), but that's still a maybe.
People usually are promoted within 2 years there, and see a ton of internal growth. It's because they have a lot of levels for a lot of departments. You can grow into a people manager pretty early on in your career. But they need a lot of work on internal processes. Also, they use workday at their HRIS & ATS which is horrible.
