I interviewed with them once, and almost all recruiters start as a contractor, where you make a pretty high base and bonus (to offset because you don’t get the salesforce benefits until you are perm) then once you are converted, your base actually lowers because you are now getting the benefits. Overall I wasn’t blown away by the career path or by the compensation overall.

I was referred by a VP for a recruiting role at Salesforce, and I have a great resume. Even after he followed up, they wouldn’t talk to me. It was strange! I recommend networking into the TA org there. I assume they only hire people that they know.

Call me! I’m hiring Salesforce recruiters

I would connect with a few Salesforce Recruiters asf they're hiring a lot right now. HOWEVER please know that Recruiters come in usually as a contract first. If you're converted, you'll also most likely be paid hourly, only given 15 days PTO (including sick time), while those who are salary get unlimited time off. Typically only Recruiting Leadership or VERY senior level recruiters are hourly (think like 10+years), but that's still a maybe.

People usually are promoted within 2 years there, and see a ton of internal growth. It's because they have a lot of levels for a lot of departments. You can grow into a people manager pretty early on in your career. But they need a lot of work on internal processes. Also, they use workday at their HRIS & ATS which is horrible.

I’ve accepted an offer for a non-partner track counsel position at an Amlaw 200 firm. Salary of 300k, expectation of 1800 billable hours. Fully remote. Wife and I are prioritizing things other than careers with this move. She’s also able to go fully remote. I’m scared but also excited. Am I crazy?

Hi everyone! I’m currently interviewing for a Risk/Compliance Analyst position in Chicago. I just received a verbal offer today, and during interviews a week ago, the HR rep informed me the salary range for the position is $65-$80k. With my experience, certifications, and degrees, I want to negotiate for $85-$95k range when I receive the official offer tomorrow. Does anyone know where I can find/do a market analysis for similar positions in Chicago or can share their salaries?TY

Hi
My husband and I just went through a few very difficult months. His mother passed after an aggressive disease and struggle, we had another family member pass, Covid, political climate, +. Just under the surface we are so sad. We have a very easy baby but a young child is still demanding. We are not motivated to work and I can’t figure out how to return to “normal.” I am not pulling my weight at work and generally can’t imagine being motivated like I was. Please send advice.

For fun:

I don’t have offers on these yet but if it all works out I’ll be choosing from these. Interested to hear your thoughts! Keep in mind I’m entry-level.

A. Large contract healthcare recruiter. $47k base, 45 hrs/wk, uncapped comp, 4 days in office
B. Small niche agency, training, $40k base, takes 6 mo. to build pipeline, uncapped, flexible schedule, WFH post-training
C. Large agency, can eventually specialize in non-tech, training provided, 4 days in office, $40k base, uncapped comp

Does anyone know what employers check on a background check? Like if I got a speeding ticket will that show up, lol
