I’ve been offered a senior sales role at TikTok in Australia which will be a good growth opportunity for me. I have read a lot of reasons why NOT to join - but keen to see if there are some employees on the other side of the fence who would recommend to join? I understand the growing pains but curious if the current issues are known and being addressed or simply shrugged off

Question: I am on an AE Hiring process. the HR said the salary range is 60k to 70k plus commissions and bonus. I told them, I am looking for 80k, considering my current salary and experience. So far I already had 3 interviews, things are doing well, only one more. Do you think usually companies can go high than the salary range, even though they told me the salary was less than I am expecting?

How many roles did you apply to before securing a an interview? I applied to ~10 roles in the past 6 months, got 1 interview last December (didn’t go well and didn’t clear the first round HM interview) — should I continue applying? I have a referral btw!

If I was a junior on a team during a campaign launch, is that something I can put in my book? I helped during the concepting phase, was responsible for keeping the boards up to date, and wrote a lot of the supporting materials (print, social etc) but obviously I was not on the shoot or the lead on writing the script. As long as I’m clear about my role is that acceptable?

Can I apply to Big 3 Cloud (and other top SaaS) for Junior AE after a full year as a top performing BDR? Coming from 7yoe of industry + Big 4 consulting with MBA before pivoting into tech sales to be a hunter closer. Aiming for industry-aligned AE openings to leverage my related background, but most descriptions still “require” 2-5 years of quota or full cycle experience even for SMB. Would my 12mo as BDR be good enough since I have 8 total years of professional experience?

Hello, first post here. Outside sales, merchant services/card processing. I’m primarily a welder but I work 4 10-hour shifts typically then I try sales the last three days. I’ve done it long enough to where I’m confident and comfortable going to new businesses, establishing some rapport with business owners. But it seems like a lot of businesses see this as a waste of time, even adding services and cutting costs. I guess either I’m looking for advice or considering not doing this anymore.

My company has always had SalesForce but it was not really a tool that we used or that anyone looked at. Over the last year my company has put more stress on growth (to be acquired or IPO) and they are now obsessed. I know it is important and necessary and my boss is clearly becoming stressed with our entire team. I'm tired of wearing too many hats and only getting paid for one. I was hired as an Account Executive, but I have to manage collections, billing support issues and visual filing for my accounts. I honestly don't see it's worth it at this point. Little over a year at this company and I've made $250 in commission from my 18k of margin that I brought on. I'm definitely at my end point and want to explore more options. Any advise?
