I’ve been out for 7 years+ now. Former enlisted. I now have my degree and work in cyber and have been looking into direct commission programs in the Army and Air National Guard. Anyone have expierence with direct commission or just officer experience doing cyber in the Air Guard.

Looking at joining BCG, what’s their military leave policy look like? I’m in the Guard have a deployment coming up in 2021.

I have been considering going back to school but I left active duty 15 years ago and my Post 9/11 expired this summer.

Either way, I'm curious if anyone would know why I only received 25 months of education benefits. I was 100% active for 4 years, 3 deployments to Iraq, honorable discharge etc. And wondering if there is any way to extend my benefits and get the 36-48 months that seems to be standard.

I'm still a little rough around the edges and know I need to be a little more careful socially and professionally with my speech. Anyone else here worked on this and have any advice?

Need Advice: I have an opportunity to pursue Army SF in the National Guard beginning 2021/22. With that being said, I enjoy my career as a technology consultant with PwC and want to try and climb the ladder. Does anyone have experience in guard SF and consulting? What’re your thoughts? I am open to any and all thoughts, ideas, opinions, and advice. For background, I am an Infantry Officer in the national guard with solid OERs

When people ask your YOE, do you say, for example, 8 YOE with 4YOE being in consulting? Or do you just ignore the military entirely and give that 4 figure only? I understand you should calculate YOE differently on resumes and job applications (usually do not count military unless directly applicable); I am talking about informal conversations between colleagues
