So I’m about to start my interview process for Capital One next week for a Senior Financial Analyst position. My recruiter going give me a prep call on Friday but I wanted any advice that recruiters don’t tell you during the interview process. Also I wanted to ask if Capital One a decent place to work at. I will be working at the one in McLean Virginia if that helps.
Any helpful tips for a Google TPM interview
I was contacted by an Amazon recruiter for a remote Sr. Program Manager role. I took and passed the assessment and was moved to the hiring manager round which was scheduled for tomorrow. I got an email tonight saying that the Director of the group decided that the person must be in Seattle. I am in Austin, which is not an option. I’m disappointed! The recruiter will let me know if any remote roles come up but in the mean time, does anyone have any remote Amazon roles that they’d refer me to?

In this day and age, gaps are not a problem as they have occurred in the past two years for various reasons.
If they are a problem (for the handful of old fashioned hiring authorities that might be out there) then that’s a clear place you DONT want to work.
Just be truthful about any employment gaps. Honestly, I agree with above comment on archaic employers analyzing gaps as this would not affect performance in a different company under different evaluation.
