The market in DC is depressing. Hey here's a nice 900 square foot condo for the lowly price of 600k!
Just sold for $13k over asking. Settlement next week. Great time to get OUT of the area and move somewhere with a lower cost of living
Where are you looking? I’m finding it hard to justify paying 5-600k for a small condo or house that’s far off the metro. With traffic so bad I want to live not too far from DC but prices inside the beltway are rough
I'm so happy I bought my condo a year and a half ago. Less than 200k too! In Fairfax. It isn't a "luxury" condo but I love it. And it's cheap
OP I don't think 1 bedrooms are either hard to sell or rent in the metro area.
So happy I bought in Arlington in 2014. 😀. I understand people took their homes off the market in Arlington and Alexandria when the Amazon announcement was made, to await appreciation. Our historic inventory shortage has gotten worse
OP if it's competitive the contingencies will kill you. Have to evaluate your risk vs home owner appetite
Ya pretty sure it is a little early to start blaming Amazon, lol they aren't here until 2022
Not here until 2022? They got 5 public postings already and are estimating 400 by end of this year
