How many of you ladies are planning or ended up being a stay at home mom post maternity leave? I'm really considering it because I've always desired to stay home for a few years in child's first few years of life and we can afford it, but I'm also feeling a little sheepish about my work reputation and losing a great role (since I would have to quit). This will be my first child, FYI

My brother is being committed because of severe OCD and delusions/hallucinations of hurting himself and the people around him. He has no life and has trouble leaving the house. About 10 years ago he felt better and got a degree in Computer Science but can't/will not work and he collects social security. At this point I am just waiting for him to die and not sure what to do as there is always an excuse for not improving his life. Anyone deal with anything like this?

I really aspire to be like Robin Boyd one day and help people. I know the problem is multifaceted but I wish there had been examples like her for me when I was even younger. I think if Black children who don't come from wealth were exposed to more representation in careers other than sports or working under someone forever, they'd have a better chance of making it to college or wherever they want to be and succeeding in life.

Reunited with an ex and things moved very fast with the two of us spending a lot of time and nights together but we waited to consummate the “relationship”. Recently, he shared that he wasn’t in a position to be in a relationship right now and felt like he didn’t have enough to offer me but he cared deeply for me and was very attracted to me. Last December, my mom said I needed to check myself into a mental hospital. It was a deliberate attempt to hurt, she knew I was getting help and not at risk.
