Anyone had any success requesting to work fully remote in the fed advisory space? If so, what are the limitations (promotion, future pay raises)?
Anyone else tired of the assumption that because you’re a partner you have to think a certain way and believe certain things. I’m talking about wokeness, work from home, and the recent ever constant pushing of the needle to the left or risk getting “cancelled”. I’m fairly liberal politically so for me to be saying this I think may say something for the current climate. I should be able to hold and express my own opinions without being quashed because I’m not “woke” enough.

My professional life at the moment is far from ideal. I’ve been on quarantine (long story, but a good one) for the last seven years. Royalties from my books don’t pay the bills. My entrepreneurial pursuits remain hampered. For the interim, I’ve been looking for a remote opportunity where I can leverage my skills in marketing, sales, social media, and elsewhere for a decent sum. I have a social media presence which, in recent years, reached millions. There has to be something exciting I can do.
What the heck can I do with an economics undergraduate degree? Remote work? Types of companies (to move to the US)? Thanks

Hi, looking for recommendations for a therapist, ideally NYC -based but also someone who does remote sessions. Mostly looking for help with severe anxiety, depression, and maybe cognitive behavior therapy. BCBS insurance. I’m a single parent, and I’m struggling. Thanks in advance.
Impatient first-year attempting to lateral — what is the conflicts check portion look like? As in, do you turn in your conflicts sheet and then at some point the firm is like “CLEAR,” or do they ask you questions? I need to be able to visualize this experience lol.
Looking for freelance mid-level art directors for new project. Great design, broadcast and digital experience. Message me.
We have Netflix in FAANG, yet don’t see much discussion about the company. What’s up with it?
Any midlevels here? How often do you screw up? And how bad? Still new as a lateral and partners don't want to review anything, so keep screwing up. Also so busy, so hard to keep track of everything and have time not to screw up. Anyone in the same boat? 😔
What’s the difference between being an account strategist vs. account manager (ad sales) in terms of responsibility and pay at Google? I’ve been scouring all sorts message boards, indeed reviews, and Glassdoor - can’t seem to find much detail on this. I’ve also noticed people with these titles on LinkedIn with anywhere from 1-7 years of agency experience, so that didn’t help either 🤷♂️
Have 63K in stocks and wondering if i should plan to sell some in order to rebuild a decent safety cushion in my checking and savings after buying a home, which is looking like it’d nearly deplete them as I’m aiming to put 20% down. I’m pre-approved for a 15yr fixed at 2.25% and 30yr at 2.85%, and hoping I can swing the former, but based on price range of homes that meet my quals, I don’t think I could without liquidating some stocks to create a little breathing room every month. Thoughts? TYIA!
Workload: 📈. Motivation: 📉. A dangerous combination
Where can I go to geek out about code and talk shop endlessly? I have no one in my life who cares...
If your social security is the amount of cash you would like to have, what would it be?? Honest question.. Just curious
What are some in demand IT certifications right now? I’m a BA/PM background looking to get more technical during this time. But don’t know where to start 😅 AWS? Azure? CompTIA? Any help appreciated!

What are some of your favorite travel tips and tricks? I’m new to the game and could use some pointers!
Disclaimer: Not a racist post so please don't go that route. Do you ever have trouble understanding co-workers who have accents? I have a couple of colleagues with thick Southeast Asian accents and I find myself getting really irritated in having to ask to them repeat themselves. Would I be wrong to suggest an elocution course or something to help them enunciate their vocab better?
Senior UX designer here. I am trying to make the switch from agency/consulting to client side. I’m having a little bit of difficulty defining metrics for my work, given the nature of agency work is project to project. Any advice for those who have made that jump?
Hi CGians, I have recently joined Capgemini Invent and working in a support project. People are already onsite from my account and in my team all people are working here for more than 3- 4 years. So my chances of getting an onsite from here seems 0. What steps can I take to get on-site in the near future or how can I see switch projects for an onsite opportunity
How important is having a job title that specifies a focus in employment law in the context of salary and future job prospects? This is opposed to something general such as attorney or council. If I'm looking for a position in employment law with a general title on my resume, will perspective employers rule me out because of it? I just asked for a title change and I am not sure how hard to push for it.
