I’ve been seeing that there are no appointments available in Chennai consulate for early 2021 since the last few days. Are they not open for normal appointments or are they getting booked so fast?

I’ve already had cervical cancer (last year) and have been cancer free. Now have a hormone replacement specialist I have to see annually. Yesterday was the visit and she randomly decided to do a breast exam and found a lump. Couldn’t get me in for a diagnostic mammogram until next week. Came home and relapsed - it was not a full-on bender but I drank. How do I not beat myself up and just get up and keep going? Alcohol is the WORST thing for any cancer esp breast cancer. WTF is wrong with me!?

I was thinking to do jump rope and do some strength training at home (I have dumbbells) and eat little less.

Is it a big deal if a partner questions how much time you spent on something? Can’t they just write off time that seems excessive, or am I missing something? How do I qualify for a waiver of the interview when renewing the H1B in the same US consulate where I originally got the visa? Context: Italian, renewing the H1B that is expiring this summer. The website says says that an interview is not required but only gives the option to schedule one 2 months from now - which is too late for me.
