I’m an A2 in tax with an MST/CPA. I’ve always been interested in M&A tax and even interned in a group that has a deals tax subset. I have seen on some posts that M&A tax is specific and most exit opps are geared towards JDs. Was wondering if this is true, or if you could have just as good as a career with the MST/CPA? I know there are a lot more variables but was curious since I’m trying to figure out what I want long term and don’t plan on going to law school.
