I would cancel without notice; you are effectively donating $120 to the gym.
If you’re worried, donate the money to a food bank. I’m absolutely sure those people are having a worse time than your gym and you were already thinking about cancelling.

It depends on what your priority is.
My dance studio is a small business and is absolutely struggling. Some friends and I have decided to keep paying memberships to support the owner (who offered refunds) - it’s absolutely important to us that she survives this storm and we have a studio to return to when this thing ends. In addition, some instructors are offering pay-what-you-can online tutorials and I try to pay a bit here and there too. Several of them have multiple jobs and have been either furloughed or fired from some of their jobs. I’ll do what I can to help.
But if you have other life circumstances, cancelling is also understandable.
Cancel and get peleton digital free for 90 days. So many workouts on there.
Yoga, meditation, running, walking, strength, stretching, dance cardio and cycling
I have to notify them on 4/2 for 30 day notice.
Thanks all, I think I will cancel. If it was any other time I wouldn’t think twice. I like the idea of seeing if the instructors are doing classes for donations or something along those lines.

Hopefully it’s not like every other gym I’ve belonged to the the only way to cancel is in person, Monday through Friday 9AM-4PM! No over the phone, no email, etc. absolutely ridiculous.
Ask for them to put your membership on hold. If they won't then cancel it. You might find that after all this is over you'll rediscover your love of gym time.
At the very least put it on hold.
Wait for a month. Anyway they have one month notice period
120 a month! Bahahahaha what?! My friends all make fun of my 45/mo gym payment. You must not have student loans.
Lol
My gym closed and they partially refunded our membership fees for march and significantly decreased the fees for April. In exchange, they are doing some zoom classes and gave us subscriptions to wellbeats
Honestly, that’s what I would expect them to do but haven’t seen any correspondence on it. Zoom classes are fair but not at the full price of going to an actual gym when there are so many other alternatives online for way less.
