freedom doesn't pay the bills tho, unfortunately.
this is annoying advice, but it is very important not to get down on yourself, because that will turn into a self fulfilling prophecy. what have you done to boost your self esteem lately? do more of it. volunteer. do work for a non profit. find a way to maintain energy and enthusiasm, so that you have positivity to transmit when you interview.
hang in there. it sucks, but it's not forever.
Thank you.
Stay positive. It will work out. It always does. And you will be stronger having gone through the trial. 👊🏻🔥❤️
same boat here and empathize. close to 6 months now and so much false hope and jobs I really thought I was going to get to the point where people were saying to look forward to working with me soon and still zilch. Stay hopeful and keep remembering your talent and skills, you've been successfully employed before, it'll happen again.
In the same boat my friend. I’m networking my face off so Hit me up and I’ll see what I can keep an eye out for/intro you to people in my network.
Sending you love that’s all ❤️
Dm me for a good recruiter
For real enjoy your time when will you have this luxury again? Although I’m sure it doesn’t seem like it. Also take care of yourself during the day plan stuff that’s fun like volunteering or things you’d never typically try
Summer 2018, I was in the same spot. Ghosted constantly, yearning for a job, spending my afternoons working out and reading in East Village parks. Now I’m employed...and reminiscing of my jobless summer. You’ll get yours...and then miss the freedom you have today
Stay strong. The same happened to me last year. It took 15 months but it worked out in the end. Good luck.
Same happened to me. Getting by on less $$ and LOVING having a life! Sounds sappy but relish this time to enjoy yourself, the commute will kick in soon.
Same story. Going on 9 months. Have been repeatedly ghosted after months of phone interviews, face to face, presentations, conversations, etc. It’s tough to keep going. But, what choice is there?
