You may get more benefits from a SIM-only plan. I have a Singtel SIM-only (month to month) plan for $20/month 100GB 5G 1000 minute etc.
Go for Singtel

No benefit honestly, for the longest time I was on an 80+ a month plan, the only benefit was getting a new device and sometimes getting them early (iPhones). But these days I don’t see a reason to upgrade my phone every 2 years honestly. On top of that my unlimited plan with Myrepublic is 38 a month, if I can use my phone for 36 months I saved 1440 sgd. Considering the offset for a device is often 1000 sgd - I dont see the benefit of getting a device plan.
Post paid is the way to go. SIM only CIS plans or family plans
Definitely not. I highly recommend Giga

Singtel e sim
Same boat as you. I’m using Simba, which is 10/mo for 50GB (they have promo of 100GB for first six months I believe). I always have my data turned on when I’m outside and I only use approx 20GB. Though it’s only LTE/4G I’m definitely fine with it.
Postpaid has rollover, so with giga you can eventually get 70gb for $10
Thank you all for this feedback! I’ll look into giga and Simba!
