I've been with Beltone in amarillo for almost 3 years. The doctor that owns the place is Dr Fleming. She was so loving and claimed me as "family" until recently.Whe business slowed down, she & her mother(previous office manager) constantly threatened to close my office(there's another in Lubb). She also told me when I would try to correct other employees, "if yall@ cant get along, u need to find another job." When I gave my 3 weeks'notice, she fired me on the stop. So much for family, right?

Any tips on when to object to the form of a question when defending a deposition?

I’ve watched other attorneys defend and it seems like there’s a form objection to nearly every question, but still not all of them, so there’s SOME sort of analysis that goes into it, but no one I’ve asked has been able to explain to me what that thought process is, other than that you nearly always object.

Any advice for when you have a few agencies/clients *potentially* wanting to book you at the same time but they are wishy washy to *actually* seal the deal with a contract?

My gut instinct is to tell each potential client that another agency is trying to book me (like when you get far along in the FT interview process) but that seems melodramatic for freelance, right?

Getting ready to negotiate for a Senior Analyst Position range is “60-100k maybe a little more” from what I’ve been told. I’m already at 75k with the company and moving up to this role with 8 years in and a masters degree. What should I expect an offer to look like and how do approach asking for more? The bonus is RSU but not sure how much.

We continue to underbid and understaff many of our projects and as a result overwork our staff to keep our delivery on time and budget. I get it, we need to get our foot in the door and beat our competitors. How do we avoid this situation and still stay in the game ?

Hi all - looking for stats and help on what a St Consultant level III gets paid here in London? I was just offered an RN II position at Stanford Hospital’s B3 unit for $84/hour. Are there any RNs out there who can tell me what it’s like working on the unit and if it’s worth leaving my job for? I love my current job, my schedule and the people. I have no problems with it except that it’s 1.5 hours away from my family and it pays $25/hour less than Stanford.

Also, do you think it’s too late to ask if I can visit the unit before I make my decision? Thanks in advance.

I think I bombed a case interview with Chartis for an associate consultant position. The case was in excel and required me to manipulate the data via share screen with the interviewer. I couldn’t get some functions to work and was struggling to go through the 16 page PDF of data. I had several answers correct but needed to walk through the remaining questions with some guidance. My other 3 case interviews went well and I had great conversation with the partner for behavioral interview. Thoughts?

I am so conflicted and not sure what to do. A company I wanted to work for was not ready for hire when I first reached out in Sept. Since then I have accepted a job at a outpatient oncology clinic, starting in Jan at a renowned hosp. Having said that the other company does more of what I was hoping to do when I left my previous job. The company is a vessel for new ideas in healthcare helping their community specifically with seed funding, & launching their own programs. I have no idea what to do

So I say this with complete humility and an understanding that this is a fortunate-ish situation to be in. I’m in a position where I am tied to nothing, I have no children, spouse, or house. My job, which I’ve loved until some recent significant leadership changes, is sucking the life out of me and I think it may be time for a change. Because I am able to “pick up and go” I’m open to opportunities and locations. I’ve never worked with a recruiter but was hoping I could get some recommendations!
