I've been with my agency for over 3+ years. This is the first agency I'm at and I've been without a mentor or an exact career path this whole time. It's been a lot of waiting and promises that things will get better. I've been approached by another agency recently by my previous manager, but working with that person is difficult. Old manager is putting lots on pressure to join them. My gut says no, but I don't see my current agency building my career paths anytime soon.

Some people seem to think that folks will never be comfortable in an office setting again, which if true, means the same people will never be comfortable at a sporting event, museum, concert, etc. I understand that concern at the moment. 3rd job rejection after I thought it went really well. I had really great interviews & good feedback on my portfolio. When I ask why I didn’t get the position the answer I keep getting is “decided to go with someone with more experience”. Which is so frustrating, bc it’s just not as constructive as I’d like. Hi everyone…we currently hired a “marketing assistant” who has no degree or experience in marketing or design. I’m being asked to train them, their background is retail so they’re not even familiar with basic corporate programs (Microsoft & outlook).
