I’ve been with my client on a fucked up project for a year and 4 months. The client likes me but I’m miserable. I’ve been requesting a project transition plan since December. It’s now May and I have no roll off date in sight. I am interested to know what others have done to transition off of long term projects. I don’t want to leave my firm but I don’t know what options I have at this point. Your advise is appreciated.

I get depressed by thinking about going back to my project. But I feel guilty wanting to roll off bc my managers are nice even though I didn’t get much guidance from them. Should I just do it?

where are great places with a healthy work life balance? I feel like companies say they encourage employees to have a work life balance, but then they don't say no to clients and push for delivery and client satisfaction more than anything else.
