I find that working on personal projects helps. Try creating something that is good enough to go to production.. It doesnt have to be a unique idea, just something where you have a defined requirment and feature set. You will learn a good part of the new tech feature set and learn the nuances as well, which will help you give confidence during interviews

Hey fellow fishes - can you rate Deloitte Vs PWC Vs EY SAP practices ? If I am client issuing an RFP for cloud s/4 rollout and it’s a global opportunity, do I put those 3 in the same tier ? Or No? Appreciate your input. Lastly how is their SAP practice outlook over the next 5 years ? I know couple of years ago i would have said Deloitte is head and shoulders above both EY and PWC. But recently I am hearing a lot of investment and attention from pWC and EY. But people can share good:bad:ugly

I have a client interested in being innovative within the OHH space. My team doesn’t seem to be so well rounded in this area... any suggestions?

I spend 2 hours a day being productive and the rest of the time watching Netflix/Hulu/etc or napping/eating.

Have been doing this for 3 months now and I continue to get positive feedback from everyone. I can do this for another year (duration of my project) and no one will say anything.

Had to get that off my chest. Life is so nice/on easy mode these days 😬

I recently got a job offer from a company I used to work for that has a great work/life balance and culture but has a slower track to get promoted. My current employer has a not great work/life balance but it’s much easier to get promoted. Currently 5 years into my career currently bouncing between a project lead and a discipline manager… it’s a decent pay bump- 30%. But is it worth giving up the future potential advancements ?

Help. Going through a bit of a mid-career crisis. I’ve been in planning for nearly 20 years and now...when I look at my boss, the CSO, that’s not what i aspire to. I moved to Canada from India 2.5 years ago for my PG in IT BA. I have a bachelors in IT and I worked as a developer for 5 years back home. After my PG, I spent 8 months looking for a job, my current company interviewed me for Technical project manager, but they offered me the role of a PC. I accepted it without negotiating as I did not want to lose the opportunity, I am extremely underpaid and I have been doing the job of 3 people, as my company keeps firing folks. I’ve lost all my confidence.

What’s the best structure for a Creative Brief? I’m trying to train my account team + our main client into sticking to a one pager (right now it’s all over the place)

$1.5M client and new “profitability tool” showing %0 profit. Credit split 50/50 btw 20 year attorney/equity partner (JEP) and a much more senior/connected EP (SEP). Both SEP and JEP developed separate workstreams unrelated to the other. SEP‘s was terminated 3 years ago and only accounts for $200K trail off of the $1.5M. SEP’s salary is 3 times JEP’s. Profitability tool “costs” are not transparent, suspect SEP’s high salary is a factor. Anything (other than typical overhead) to ask about?
