would love that too!
how does one find those positions? i would love to avoid a recruiter, they take such a large cut
Recently made it to the interview stage at a fortune 100 client-side company. Everything seemed great, until it came to pay, which was about 25% less than I’m making now. Yes, they mentioned a decent bonus, but also said it’s not guaranteed in the same breath. It would have taken me 3-4 years....at the full bonus range....to make my current salary.
Did this a while back and I kept dreaming of driving my car off a cliff after 6 months ended up quitting and never looking back not for me.
EP 3 - that is my fear, I do love agency producer life most days. But I'm pretty stuck at my current agency, no way to move up, don't see a raise in sight beyond a 1% cost of living per year. Was it just boring and repetitive client side? Was it hard to come back?
You’d be surprised that the pay isn’t as good as the agency side. However if you land at one of the bigger companies - they usually have a nice bonus structure and some still have a pension
