I’ve been working with a recruiter on a CXO position for two months and was told I was in the final 2 candidates. Heard nothing since for 3 weeks despite several attempts - won’t even call me back. Currently job hunting. I know a few retired C-level executives who tell me that they would hire me at the director level in pretty much any role (despite currently being an individual contributor) because I'm extremely driven, a life-long learner, a natural leader, and deeply educated in diverse fields (PhD in engineering and MBA in analytics). However, I can't seem to land a senior role. How do I convince an executive to take a gamble on me based on my past success and strong future potential?

Hello, I’ve been doing litigation for 6 years. I truly hate it and I’m wondering how difficult it would be to transfer to a different type of law (possibly at the same firm)? I recall during my first few wks, whenever I stated something in a meeting 1 of the white males would re-explain what I just said really rapidly, almost in a manic sort of way.The other white male would get really sassy (not how else to describe this) with me at times.
