Someone should make Creatives Who are Down Bad.
Hello everyone,
From your experience, should I apply to entry-level strategy consulting positions in Paris (my hometown) or in Dubaï?
Background: I just finished my master's in finance and my bachelor's in target/international universities and did 2 M&A internships (Tier2 bank & elite boutique).
I am considering relocating to Dubai (vs. Paris) because of the following elements:
-net pay
-better chance to get into top firms?
-WLB
-international
-meritocratic
What are your thoughts? Thanks!

Yes they pay very well. Seems like a step up in complexity and interesting work from Big4
It's loan staff work mostly. Same thing you were doing at the Big4, but you're assigned exclusively to dumpster fires
All I know is I’ve had a million recruiters reach out about that firm. They sound desperate or just pay recruiters really well
M2 I’ve even had a recruiter forge my signature to put my resume in🤷🏽♀️ Back in the day you used to have to sign a waiver giving the recruiter permission to submit you. It’s pathetic.
I’ve been with the firm for two years and really enjoy it, let me know if you want to know more.
I’ve worked there 2 years as well and have also had an overall positive experience. Great pay but yes it’s client serving so everyone’s experience is different.
I love it there. They give bonuses for all kinds of different things, not just overtime. But it is nice to get paid for OT if you choose to work it. I also really enjoy being able to switch projects and see different jobs.
I’ve been there for 5 months, but I also have friends who have been there for 1/2/3 years and still love it 😊
