What are the ethics of using projects made for a company as an in-house designer on your portfolio? I remade a good portion of our website this year and I’d like to include it but I’m not sure what the thoughts are on that vs. a freelance project.

Any AAEs make a really big mistake their first few months in? I made mine a few weeks ago (created an estimate with client paying too little by accident) and am just now realizing it. Any tips on
My tech client wants a “Think Different” type of manifesto ad that will run for a year and magically increase their diversity hires while publicly making them look like (cont’d)
TFW you volunteer and clean up a laggy 20MB excel file for a client, reducing it to 1.3mb by removing formatting from empty cells, and client refers to it as file ‘you sent’ to shift blame for content
Currently working at AM100 firm as a 7th yr litigation associate. The goal is to go in-house but haven't had a lot of luck getting past the first or second round of interviews. I have an offer for an in-house contract position (12-18 months) working on a project that's heavily regulatory and would require a lot of work drafting policies and procedures. Any thoughts on whether a contract position might be worth taking to get the experience I need for a real in-house job?
When you think about an agency being a good or bad place to work, does it depend on the client you’re working on, or the culture of the agency itself?
Partners: looking for advice on how to articulate my story of being laid off from the strategy arm of a Big 4 in August. I was a strong performer (above expectation across all areas: util., sales, managed rev, project reviews, and upward feedback), and was told it my was tenure (<1 yr at firm), comp range, and a low forecasted dept. rev, that played a part. When I tell this story, I get the sense that it is “hard to believe”. Why would a firm lay off a high performer. Any thoughts?
For those of you who had covid - what was the experience? How long did you take off? Was your team/client understanding? Were you rolled off your project? How did your firm support you?
Hi - I’ve been in account management for about 7 years looking to move over to project management. Any advice? Or anyone know of any roles/jobs. TIA :)
A client just told me they were definitely not seriously considering "those McK-wannabes'" response to a new proposal... she was referring to Deloitte. Is this a common perception?

What's the craziest story or legend you've heard about in PA? For example, there is a legend about an intern at EY using their hands to ladle soup at a client while the CFO was standing next to them
What is your client onboarding process? Do you do a welcome kit, with a letter, any gifts?
CA attorneys: I have a client who got a court order that the kids are supposed to visit with him (kids are in another state) and now it appears that the kids may not follow the order, client already paid for their flights. Any suggestions on what to do? Ex parte? File the order in the other state to enforce the order? Hold the other parent in contempt? Thanks!
Is tech sales really worth the hype? I know the earning potential is much higher, but coming from a consulting background is it really hardcore sales “cold calling”, or more client management and building on top of preexisting relationships? I don’t have prior sales experience and trying to gauge the risk. Thanks!
Considering requesting a promotion from Senior 3 to manager (otherwise will have to go) Already doing manager roles, and don't want to go through another year without the title and appropriate comp.
Did any Big 4 partner (4+ years) exited to ZS? If so, what level at ZS is comparable in terms of responsibility and total comp? What are pros and cons?
Will Deloitte cover cost of clear? Have expiring precheck and in process for global entry but wouldn't hurt If Deloitte covers as precheck I paid for and global entry is covered by chase.
So many mixed signals. One week they are obsessed and following MIA for an entire week. So over it.

If you’re interviewing for a role with the title of “Business Analyst”, but you have an MBA from a top school, do you get the salary/title of an associate once you’re hired?
Cyber security masters or MBA? I am in the cyber security field and my career will likely revolve around that but I'm not sure which one prepares me more for upper management. What do you guys think?

Anyone know how much performance bonus PwC offers for managers on average? Just got an offer and it’s not that much more then my current salary but recruiter is saying I could make up to 27% in performance bonus on top of my salary and I’m trying to see if people get even close to that?
Taking some time off. Need some book recommendations. Some light interesting non-fiction. No self help or management books. Just interesting topics that won’t make me think about work.
Just moved to London and looking for Client Service roles or just networking at either advertising or design agency. Any advice / thought / intros would be greatly appreciate!
Hi! Does anyone have any tips for a technical interview with Pwc? I have an upcoming one for deals analytics.
My experience is all over the place first 6 years of career: Internal audit, compliance for first two years, then PMO, transformation, accounting/finance for the rest, across all different industries. Interviewers/companies seemed to be turned off by that, which makes sense Bc I’m not super experienced in any one thing. Any tips in navigating this? I’ve been applying to other consulting roles in transformation.
Anyone work for national tax? Curious to see how it compares to everyone else in terms of work load, flexibility, comp, promotions, etc.
