HR Generalist, Sr. Recruiting Coordinator, and Recruiter - pay is in the 60's. And Total Rewards Manager which will be 70's-80's.

After trying to find an in-house job since July, I finally have an offer at a company that I really like. Total comp is around $20-25k off from where I want to be. Equity comp may be the only way to bridge the gap but they said they don’t normally include equity comp at the corporate counsel level, which is odd. I have found that most companies do. Has anyone received equity comp in negotiations where it wasn’t originally on the table?

Interviewed, LOVED the vibe, the managing partner & associate BUT its quite low 65k..I really could see myself in a place like that but sadly I have kids to support and with the current economy, cannot take a paycut. What is the standard yearly hike in IT Security industry in North America? I have worked for 7 months in a company in Canada, and I got a yearly hike of just 3% in my first appraisal cycle. My manager says that you get 3% when you are meeting expectations but not going above and beyond. Is this the standard or am I being underpaid? According to me, I haven't gone above and beyond every day, but there are some things I did work on exceptionally well.

I recently accepted a job offer and it has been discussed and confirmed via email/phone that my starting salary is £26k and will raise to £28k after 6 months probationary period. Now, I have been sent the contract but there’s no specific statement about the £28k salary after probation.

It might be a stupid question but I am worried about raising this as an issue. Is this normal? Or is it better to ask for a revised contact with the specifics?
