Currently have my CFP and CRPC. Anyone done the MSFP and/or ChFC? Looking to dive deeper into estate planning and legacy planning and create a deeper competitive edge in my estate planning council network group. Any suggestions of the better route for this?

My company offered to pay my way through the CFP program, on the contingency that I will pass and also stay with them for 10 years after the fact. Is this normal? It seems unfair to make me pay them back down the road if I decide to take a better opportunity. It’s a small business that is worried I will leave.

401K question from a noob: Company matches .50 up to 5% of salary. I make $90k, they will contribute max of $4500/yr if I put in $9k/yr = total 401k cont of $13.5k/yr. I should contribute 10% to 401k?
