I’ve got my last RICP exam on Friday. Any tips?

For those who made the jump from biglaw to midlaw, how long did the recruiting process take? I just started interviewing last week and have a ton more interviews this week, and I’m already exhausted balancing that with a current busy workload. And how many firms did folks apply to/approx how many interviews did you do in total? Trying to get a sense of how long this process is for people.

What’s the opinion about teaching at community college or as adjunct professor? I have my CPA license, but not masters. I’ve contemplated going back for a masters to be able to teach at the university level, but it seems like it doesn’t pay well these days. I come from a non target and have really been successful at interviewing at a few places. I have internship experience at a consulting firm and now moving into my junior internship process. I’ve received an offer from a top tech company for their FLDP. Since tech is my long term goal, I thought I’ll accept. However, I’ve also secured interviews from growth shops, consulting firms and even PE. Should I stick to this path? and pivot to Corp Dev which is traditionally for people with work experienc

42F dating 42M for 9 months. We used to live about 30 minutes away from each other and saw each other once a week, but I moved a few months ago (now10 minutes away) and we still only see each other once a week. He calls me every night and we talk on the phone for 1-2 hours. We do lots of fun stuff together- art fairs, sporting events, and just relax and cook together and watch some movies. He sees his friends once every couple months. Am I wasting my time with this guy? No kids/don't want kids

I sit in a chair for 9+ hours a day, I have a 49 mile commute so that's an additional almost 3 hours in the sitting position. Then I sit at home and study every other hour. ALL I DO IS SIT.

Edward Jones advisor with 30 million AUM and roughly 250k gross production. Been there for almost 4 years. Got an offer at Merrill Lynch to take over a 100 million dollar retirement transition plan in 5 years, or to join a 5 person Merrill Lynch team that manages a lot.

Pros to EJ: Have my own office, a year or two away from partnership, great office setting and client satisfaction.

Pros to Merrill: Bump in compensation, additional tools and services w banking, ability to take over assets.
