My client is looking to hire a freelance web designer and a graphic designer for a passion project. Web designer needed to develop a simple blog site. Graphic designer needed to develop a few custom images that look like paintings. If interested send me a message as soon as possible. Thanks!
Livid & need to vent. Had a call with a client, I am the attorney that manages their cases. A male attorney was on the call with me as well. I try to explain something to client multiple times and he keeps cutting me off to explain his question again (even though I am answering the question but for the interruptions). Male attorney jumps in and explains exactly same of what I am saying, male client listens intently, no interruptions, then essentially ignores me the rest of the call. Raaaaage 🤬
Normal to feel like you only work a couple hours a week? Client has off fridays and leaves early daily and SOW is lax. Not really sure what I’m learning, most days I order team lunch and book some

What bank do you use for client trust account or IOLTA? I checked BOA and the monthly fees are ridiculous. They used to have IOLTA accounts with zero fees. I guess that’s no longer the case.
No one acknowledged my new stapler in the office so far. I'd like a new project please.
Hi! I joined TCS last year, and I am planning do Cloud Certifications. I need your esteemed answers for the following questions: Is it really necessary/worth to pursue cloud certifications at this stage? Which cloud service provider should I choose? Is TCS going to pay for all certifications? If such is the case, what is the procedure? P.S: I currently work as a Angular Developer in a Citi Bank Project, where I am not exposed to any cloud operations.
Any tips for navigating client office politics? I’m working on a process improvement project involving multiple teams and one team feels threatened that my client team is taking work from them (and that their jobs will be in jeopardy as a consequence), and they are slowing down progress which prevents me from doing my job. Client execs are aware but have their hands tied. What’s the best way around this?
What have your experiences been like switching from agency to client side? Do you like it? How long have you been in both sides? How did you get in? Through a recruiter or was there a specific brand you wanted to work at and you reached out to them? What made you want to switch? Or switch back? Any thoughts!
what’s a good resume template/format for consultants? i.e do you list out each project as its own section under the employer? Is it still recommended for one page resume?
Pro tip: use your PTO to go all in on a personal hobby or side project for a week. It’s super refreshing, and you don’t have the stress of travel.
Between being in my first trimester and dealing with whatever plague my preschooler brought home, I don’t have the mental or physical energy to deal with any client requests 😩 I wish I could just take the next 2 months off to sleep
Is it rude to suggest to a new analyst that she needs to look more professional, e.g. don’t show up with wet hair to client meetings (even if on Zoom)? FYI I’m also a female and just trying to look out for these new hires
Is there any protocol if your client on an active matter (and you feel like you've done good work) posted an open in house position you're qualified for? Interested but I don't want to burn the bridge on either side if counsel's feelings aren't reciprocated.
Anyone had success negotiating extra points to have the team stay at a hotel for a long term client engagement (e.g., double points for the team)? Trying to negotiate with a Hyatt right now and would love any tips.
Anyone work with or for Accordion Partners? Any insight on type of projects, culture, and comp?

First time in an accounting firm… Is it normal to want to quit after starting a couple months ago? 😂 About to start doing the bare minimum and hope I don’t get fired.
Went in for a scan yesterday because I was having spotting and cramping at 12 weeks. The OB saw fluid behind the baby’s neck and is referring us to see a high risk doctor immediately. NIPT was negative. I’m panicking. Have any of you been through this?
Anyone know if what guidehouse senior consultant salary is like, specifically for Cyber? Not much info in glassdoor.

Why don't I get any calls from the other big 4s. I've tried applying through naukri, linkedIn, referrals. Not even a single call. And here I thought I had a demanding skill set!
With everyone leaving Deloitte, amongst other firms, should I still join for a 50% salary bump or stay at my current company and hope to get a new job 😕
I’m sore. BF and I WFH all last week and let’s just say coffee breaks got on the wild side. Let’s see what this week holds..
Have a call on Friday with the CEO of an environmental entrepreneurship non-profit. It could lead to a professional opportunity and maybe even billable work I can refer to my firm down the line. I’m going in with an open mind but little concrete information on his entity and goals and ways I could get involved. What questions would you ask such a person?
What’s big 4 to another big 4 experienced sm signing bonuses looking like in FDD, right now?
Seeking portfolio advice. 23 years old- 95k comp, 20k currently in market through the most basic Schwab index funds and Vanguard ETF’s, already max out 401k & IRA. My returns over the past year have been meager. I want to take on more risk and pick more concentrated investments. Whatever I go with, I want to hold them for the long run with no intention to sell. Any advice?
Looking to start a new hobby, anyone have any recommendations for guitar lessons and maybe a couple singing lessons?
