Hello, currently I am on notice period, last month I have worked on saturday and applied for compensatory off in BMS tool, and in workday I had applied as Casual time off as my manager told m to do so. now I am getting leave type mismatch email , and manager is saying you can ignore that email. So my question is did it impact in my Full and final settlement or final letter? I @m confused now. Please help

Where do you usually go for a long weekend kind of a mini-vacation?

Can’t decide on a job offer. Currently employed and have been wanting to do something different. The other job offer is pretty much what I make now but I’d be losing on a lot of PTO. I kind of feel really confused about what to do. The hiring manager actually picked up on the fact that I don’t sound super excited for the job. But I feel like this is my chance to leave and do something different but I’m hung up on barely any PTO and swapping to a complete different industry.

EY 🐠 - potentially starting with the firm soon, and my partner is due to have our first in April. Given the 1 year service requirement for leave, would I have the option to take PTO during birth and use parental leave after my 1 year of service? Appreciate any guidance here

It looks like I may clear conflicts about a week before I'm scheduled to take a vacation at my current firm. I was told by my current firm that I won't be able to get coverage for all my matters and will likely need to be available to work for a few hours a day during this vacation. How should I handle this? Is it inevitable that I'll have to work during my vacation right before I quit or is there a way to avoid it?

So i work at this company in coimbatore (india) and we have a very poor work life balance. We have a 6 day working policy and no vacation or sick leaves just 1 day casual leave a month. We usualy had to work around 10 to 12 hrs and no leaves even during govt holidays. How can i make them understand this is killing our personal life. I’ve worked in Consulting for the past 2.5 years and I’ve loved it! Today is the day where all the horror stories I’ve heard about consulting came true. I worked until 1AM this morning to finish deliverables for a client I’m working on. I’ve had PTO on the books for the past two months and jumped on a flight this morning to enjoy the rest of the week off. I land and my phone buzzes for a fire drill that only I can solve. Should I work for the next 10 hours and fix or say screw it not my problem?

I'm currently working with Capgemini at C1 level. I have an offer from TCS of 20L(with variable) and I have asked for permanent onshore to CG for retention. CG is trying to get me in the onsite project and now they have offered me 18.5L(with variable) and 1.5L retention bonus with C2 promotion.

Hi fishes, Had discussion with TCS HR and he told he need to take approval for 21.5LPA as my current CTC is already on an higher level, My YOE is 7+ now , Will they offer me 21.5 lpa? Does the approval take place in TCS or just HR is ghosting me ?
