I’ve just started my career 2 years back and I really want to have an international exposure. I don’t want to change my career path and stick to consulting. The only options I have is:
1. Go for MS - which is a big investment
2. Start applying to other countries for job. But I’m not sure on which countries have opportunities since my overall experience is just 2 years.
Would love to hear your suggestions.

+1 for inter company transfer. I’ve done it once and it worked well. But before you approach, ensure you’re in your A game (top reviews), you can’t be flunking out on projects and expect leadership to back up an international transfer. You need to build network- jump on engagements, PD work or any proposals. And finally, transfers are a slow process, so be patient.

Majority of my department has been informed we will need to look for other positions internally due to our jobs being outsourced. The timeframe for the full transition of all work to the vendors is approximately 6 months. This is the second time in 14 months I have had to look for another position due to outsourcing of work. Since I can only work remotely for my company due to location, is it best to resign or to hold out in hopes for a transition to another department?

Will it be a problem during background verification in IT companies? The first advantage (third party) is asking for expansion of my initial letter in my name, where I have clearly mentioned the scenario in thier comment box.
Will first advantage take this into consideration or will expansion of initial letter in a name will have any impact on the BGV?
