I think a managerial role would be 150-200k I think, but it's likely dependent on the area and years of experience

Hey everyone,
I just moved to the Indianapolis area and was hoping you could help identify what the salary market was here. I have my BS in mechanical engineering, MS in engineering management, and an MBA. I have been working in the auto industry for 7 years. Ideally I would love to find a project manager or similar position at a larger size company. Thanks for the help.

Hi fishes,

I just got an offer from Morgan Stanley. The offer is indeed handsome and provides other benefits as well. The problem is I just relocated to Pune for my wife's work, we have set up our house here and now if I accept offer I again have to relocate to Bangalore because they aren't offering WFH. What should I do? I know Morgan Stanley is a very reputed firm and might make an enormous impact in my technical growth, but is it worth taking the pain of relocation again?? I am confused.

What do I put in my resume if I don't have formal education?

I'm currently a jr-mid designer for a good company and have 3 years of experience but now I'm updating my resume and feeling insecure (as I usually have) that I don't have anything to put under Education. I am entirely self taught and have learned through non-certified short courses, UX books, & real world work.

I used to leave that part empty but now it feels weird to enter my experience w/o the education. Any advice?🙏🏽

Just wondering all, during salary negotiations if you give them a 15k range and they offer the complete minimum is that disrespectful and how much is a reasonable amount to rebut by. I'd def be okay with the minimum but I always hear they expect negotiations. Also how often do they even offer their best $$

95K - 110K range for example and they offered 95K

Hoping to get my PHR in the next year or so. Outside of employer reimbursement, are there other opportunities for this to get funded? I know SHRM Foundation offers scholarships for the CP, but I am looking for PHR specific help. Thank you! :)

There’s no such thing as a perfect job.

I know there are definitely worse out there so it’s hard to put my foot down and resign, I could just stick it out for a year but am feeling demotivated and too exhausted to do anything else but sleep after hours/weekends. Have you ever started working somewhere and although nothing overtly wrong or terrible about the place / colleagues, it just didn’t feel like the right fit & if so, what did you do?

Hello fellow HR pros! I really need your opinions on HR certifications. I am deciding between PHR and SHRM-cp. I have read just about all there is online comparing the two and can not decide. I work for a 350~ company who is growing rapidly through M&A. Passions/interests are compliance, strategic vision, M&A, branding and culture
