I work in accounting for an insurance brokerage firm. I put in my 2 weeks notice today and was told by my manager that they may ask me to not work the next 2 weeks (with pay) since I’m going to a competitor. Has anyone ever experienced this? Is this the norm?

What are the major pros/cons of investing in a total stock market fund vs an s&p 500 tracking fund? Looking at Schwab’s. The s&p tracking one has a .02% er vs .03 for the total.

They’ve reached out to me with a promising role but online reviews claim this to be an illegitimate company. However these reviews were very specific to the individual’s circumstance—not sufficient in representing a whole firm, in my opinion. Any thoughts?
