While most portray their relationships to be perfect, remember none of them are perfect. Lots are unhealthy in some way, and I’ve noticed those who talk about it too much are overcompensating. Same goes for social media posts. No ones life is perfect and I bet even some envy you for being free and able to do what you want.
Great advice GT.
I am happily married after a failed marriage.
Relationships are hard AF. Compromise is huge in most relationships. But... never compromise on your life values, passions, dreams. Then the relationship becomes a nightmare.
Enjoy yourself and love life the way it is.
One day, maybe, the right person will show up.
Short relationships are better than 7 yr relationship that ends with betrayal and tears. This way, you know if they are right or wrong for you and move on. Holding on to something just to hold on is stupid.
Good luck OP. The sun will shine just for you on a special day!
Suck it up, buttercup. Maybe it’s you
Also divorced and in a pretty good relationship now, but not without moments of small irritation or feeling bored with routine. Just think of the odds of finding someone: (1) that compatible with you and (2) that mature and skilled at being in a relationship with someone.
It’s amazing anyone is in relationship sometimes.
Relationship is just hard. I was in a relationship for the sake of wanting someone to be called my boyfriend and it ended up badly as expected. Now I am just back to single and try to live a happy single life and love myself before anyone can love me.
Thanks GT!
Thank you!
