I’ve never been to Disney world or Disney land, but I’m planning a trip soon. Do people buy their Disney gear in advance or do you wait to buy the Mickey ears and the shirts at Disney? TIA

Why are so many adults so into Disney?

likefunny

I am and why not? In haven’t been there and it has an amazing ambience to explore.. brings me few hours of comfort with rides and food so why not!? I’m already witnessing low temperament everywhere (at work and even here) so why not have time out wd my family and friends at an amusement park?

Thats like wearing the t shirt of the band you are going to see. Dont be that guy.

Been a few times, have small kids. As someone who has overspent at the parks, buy your shirts beforehand, particularly on Amazon where there’s more selection. Also more ears available. We bought ours prior whereas in the park we saw ears that were nearly 40.

I’d rather buy it there as a momento

Disney world > Disney land. I’d buy it there.

Buy shirts in advance, you'll find a better selection. Ears from the park are a good souvenir, but there are lots of non-Disney brand options that have a better fit.

OMG. If I could put a picture next to “hell on earth” it would be Disney. Any location. Please don’t get gear. If you are really inclined to though, get it at park for memory’s sake.

Never worked at Deloitte then

Buy as souvenirs to remember the trip and/or gifts for family. Nothing wrong with going to Disney with just a small group of adults. But don’t be that adult without kids wearing Disney gear from head to toe. I’m sorry but it’s so cringe.

OP - SD1 is right, head to toe is almost as cringe as someone passing judgement on what others enjoy for fun.

Ew cancel the trip

Today for the first time in my career 10+ I gave up. I didn’t quit my job, but I gave up on it. This is certainly not inline with my personal brand, and now has me questioning if I need a “rebrand”. Never had to do that before, my brand professionally and personally was just always my authentic self, I never had to put thought against building (or rebuilding) it. Any tips?

I figured it out. The data scientist wants to be a Chief (not THE Chief, because bowls have multiple Chiefs), so he posts wacky clickbait that we all respond to, which helps him level up faster.

I had a good reputation in the company before this, but now every day I feel like a failure because I keep making mistakes.

We create targets for ourselves, then race to chase them down. Be it for a better career, money or a much higher standard of living. But I guess our youth pays a price for it.
