I’ve noticed a lot of open copy roles (junior - ACD) at Draftline but no art director roles. Are ADs there a thing? And how might one get in on that?

i applied for a designer role and mentioned i was an art director. still got an interview and they said their roles are kind of interchangeable - you make what you want out of it

ADs are there. Many designers serve as art directors, but “Art Director” is seen more as hierarchical if that makes sense

Has anyone changed jobs while on F1 OPT? How do you navigate the sponsorship issue? Do you tell them early in the process or late? Which firm/industry did you exit to?

Im a BDR at a large medtech vendor that expanded into SaaS complimenting our existing smart devices at hospitals. Sales cycles are long in this industry (min 12mo), but seems our value-add platform is so new to market that it’s taking longer (16-24+mo). I’ve been here for over 6mo and support 3 AE’s with zero pipeline and wins, despite meeting my own metrics to get meetings. Is this complex environment usual for enterprise software sales? Not sure if I’m hurting my new sales career by staying.

I don’t know who to ask for references. Since law school I worked at a non profit for 2 years. Then clerked. Was at a firm two months before it closed and now at my current firm. I have one from my supervisor at the nonprofit. But I’m not sure where to get my others. I could get my judge but not sure they’d be willing/have good things to say. We didn’t have a good relationship. Is it okay to ask someone else from the nonprofit or maybe my co-clerk? It’ll be six years but someone from internship?

Applied to a couple product manager positions with companies I was very excited about. Received rejection emails from 2 within a couple days of applying. Any advice? Would you re-apply via a different channel? Try to connect with people who work there on LinkedIn? Just feels like the door got slammed in my face without anyone peeking through the peephole.
