I've been having some of the hardest conversations I've ever had with a guy that I really like. But he is religious and I'm not. Originally I thought he didn't like me romantically and was just looking for something physical. But he asked me if I would be open to converting and I'm not. I just don't really agree with religion, especially ones with such strict rules. This is really difficult to navigate. Have any of you dealt with this?

London comp: I’m looking to move from one of the few fund of funds outside of London and looking at associate roles in VC fund of funds + co-investment or PE secondaries/buyout. Recruiter has told me salaries are £100k/£130k respectively. What are peoples salaries + bonus for these or similar roles in London? Would also be interesting to know analysts comp.

So after researching my salary is very competitive compared to the market
But the raises given aren’t inline with inflation, how do I justify that I deserve a higher raise to go up with the costs of living? To me it seems that I’m being valued less and less as I can now afford less even with the raise
