Hi Everyone, I am trying to apply for a Technical Support role at Dropbox I’m entering all the required fields but there seems to be an issue, when I hit submit after filling the form, it doesn’t submit and throws error ‘Looks like you left this blank! Please fill out this required field’ when all the fields are entered already (I have checked so many times, and filled the form from scratch several times too). Anyone from Dropbox who can put me in touch with HR or suggest what I should do next?

OP - quick heads-up. I don't think bashful means what you think it means..
Um no, same everywhere . Again with this stereotyping. Have you seen the politics bowl ? Reddit ?
I think this is the only place where desis speak. In real life and at work most are very timid so this is a great place to channel out that built up frustration
D1- I think you saw through my social experiment
EY1 - you can’t hide everything under stereotyping.. we need to learn to take “No” as an answer.. we need to learn and accept “ others have right to express as well and if they have different opinion that doesn’t mean they are wrong”... we need to accept “everyone has been through different journey and experience which drives the opinion or learning and need to at least listen and not react to everything that everyone says”...
OP - I agree with you and this is what I believe...we all (desi millennials) are victim of ruthlessness, individualism, personal biases based sh** we read and we hear and we are becoming less sensitive about surrounding people, culture (good one we used to have at one point)...as we tend to accept different cultures we get in to the grey area and struggle to differentiate between what’s best, what’s appropriate and what’s unacceptable. In this process we try to dump our shallow knowledge on eachother
Because desis just like to compete and win on everything. ESP in India there is so much competition from getting into colleges etc that it’s always about survival of the fittest so that mindset has stuck on here and that used to be rewarded but now it’s different. It also appears that from This bowl that desi ppl cant seem to acknowledge the difference in perspective and thoughts because growing up most ppl never dealt with this vast difference in opinion as ppl tend to stick to ppl from same cities same schools same things. One way to try to broaden thought process would be to try to listen and acknowledge and learn. It’s all psychological.
Wonder why this could be the case. Are we told as kids we need to win everything- every discussion, every competition etc or something else drives this frustration?
Good post OP. I think may be it’s our ego? We are supposedly the “best” lot doing good in our career and , culturally speaking, can’t take failures. Imho
Fragile ego
Yup concur with the comments here. Insecure, ego
EY3- thanks, just looked it up. ESL for life
Did you want this thread to turn into a mini- argument as well OP? Lol

I truly think using the word fuck alone is not aggressive. I haven’t noticed it either being used, but may be I just haven’t come across
