I’ve recently interviewed for an EA/Special Assistant role to CEO, VC and then f2f with the CEO, plus also met current EA. CEO has just returned from 3 weeks leave this Monday and EA has been in touch to let me know “CEO would like to find another time to speak with me this Friday” - We had discussed salary, start date and intro’d me to others in office but CEO also asked if I would find role limiting so unsure what to expect… 30 mins video call in for Friday. Thoughts on what to expect?

I've been offered a devops role with 50% support 50% development in 2pm-11pm shift but my background is data engineering.

I finished my Amazon loop interview and received a good feedback from the recruiter. A few days later, she called asking about a possible start date and location, and requested me to send a copy of my ID. She told me the result will come out in two days and exactly two days later, she told me the result is delayed and to wait a few more days. I can't help but feel like I didn't get the job. I usually do when the company is larger than 70ish people or older than a few years, but when it’s tiny like a seed startup, I know diversity can be a lower priority and there usually isn’t a recruiter/peoples/hr person in place yet. Thoughts?

The recruiter’s response was that I was still being considered for the position but the team had moved forward with other candidates that were better suited due to their experience.
