Chup chaap kaam pe dhyan do , yr salary is enough.
Whatever you do for how much ever base salary. I would strongly recommend you do not take a loan. Rent out an affordable home, wait patiently till you can buy one. Loans are a spiral you'd not want to fall in.

Tier1 college guy here. Started with 12 base in 2017 but a good joining bonus, so around 1.05 at hand. After 1 year, yes you can switch. But would suggest this.
1. Get a promotion ASAP. Can go to SDE2 IN 1.5 YEARS.
2. Then switch after 2-3 years.
Now why am I saying this.
If you switch now, you will get around 23-25 base (Overrated CTC can be said to be 40)
But as an sde2, your base can be above 40.
But if you want to switch after 1 year, still fine, nothing wrong. Just make sure you stay in your next company atleast 2 years. Right now market is such that frequent switches is still accepted, may not be the case everytime. So plan accordingly. Also, keep in mind that you may end up in a bad/toxic team. A known hell is better than an unknown heaven.
Good luck
Completely agree there is nothing wrong in finding your worth.
Yaha 90 Percent 3.5 lpa pr kaam krti h as a fresher or inko 12.5lpa km lg rha h. Kya hoga aese logo ka. 😂😂
Thank you for the positive comments couldn’t mention you all. But your responses are actually uplifting. Thank you to each and every one.
P.s. I’m not greedy 🙂
Money is just a tool for exchanging value. Nothing more than that. Also Stop bragging about your tier-1 college tag. Now your skills are only way for you to get higher package. The sooner you realize the better it is. Every year almost 30k students pass out from tier-1 colleges (I am also one of them and 5 years exp in IT) So have some humility. Just because we cleared one exam, doesn't make us entitled to every best job out there. I have worked with some of brilliant minds who were from tier-5 colleges and can make even tier-1 college student's sweat. And if you feel you are so talented and deserving so start something of your own and earn in millions. why waste your precious time in bickering on 3-4 lakhs?

Buddy, the bowl is correct. Your mindset is wrong. College is over, kid. Come out of that fairyland and start working on your skills.
Happens with the best of us. One thing is for sure you will learn a hell lot more in corporate than you have in 4 years of college. 1-2 saal baad koi puchega bhi nhi konse college se degree li. They will only see your skills, your experience and where you have worked. So focus on that
You can try in Palo Alto Networks, Qualcomm, Microsoft, Salesforce, Nvidia, Arista. Here you can get 18 lpa base pay. Apart from base you will get stocks also.
Certainly. Will work hard as much as I can.
My suggestion would be, for atleast initial two years dont think that much regarding yours salary, skill yourself in most of the tech which you are working on and also learn some of the best which are in the market , acc to your profile..let me give you an example why i am saying this.. 90% of the companies will see your yoe and nd ur ctc and at that time itself they will not call..so you only will have niche company options...and switching in a year doesnt look good on resume....you have just started your career and you are already earning what most 3-4 yoe person earns...skill yourself and then switch after probably getting 2 yoe
Ignore all the IT people's negative remarks. They are working for <5LPA salary hoping that one day some on-site opportunity will come and they can make some money. They will always try to discourage you.
The industry runs on demand-supply principle. You learn high demand skills and no matter how experienced you are, you will always get the desired hike when you switch.
Thank you so much!
Han bhai switch ask atleast 40-50% hike. Then based on one offer try increasing your hike to 100-200% it's easily available now a days. With 1 yoe i think u can get min 25 lpa. So i would suggest not to wait for a whole year u can try from this month itself. Underpaid as u r from tier 1.
Same plan bro, only thing is 14 base @95k per month. Tier 1 college.
Cheers 🍻

I'm a software engineer working for as low as 2.64LPA (almost completed one year of experience). Can you just imagine how hard it's for people like us? Maybe focus on your skills and train accordingly, your package is clearly way above the market average
Without any work experience you should be a tier 1 college graduate to get better offer than this one, as even 1 yr experience on its own won't be of much help.
They're deducting high TDS because you didn't provide investment proofs. And that TDS can be claimed while filing for ITR. Contact me if you require that on sendmail2saleem@gmail.com.
There’s no end for expectations. It depends upon company you are applying to and their budget. If you manage to clear google or other interviews which pays well and wants 1 cr fixed, then my friend prove with your skills and how you can benefit the organisation
If you are not satisfied, switch after one year improve or develop your skill definitely you will get what you are expecting
Bhai I can understand but ambition ko peer pressure se nahi naapna....I know ki tu accha karega since you're motivated but don't do by comparing with others...wishing the best for your career growth.
Work on your skills in meantime.. your pay depends much on your skillset than yoe. Take time to work and think. Get pass this barrier who is earning more. Once you are done and know your worth they will be much behind you
See buddy....first of all, no one gets satisfied with whatever amount of LPA is offered...if you are skilled and better enough then you would be having better offered comparing to your friends which you are indirectly mentioning over here....so final suggestion for you will be that from wherever whatever hike offer you are getting then just see on legality, ethic, and best for you things
I recommend, don't think about job switch till you finish at-least 2 years. And you didn't mention about your skillset and current company. Based on that I can suggest better.
