For any of you real estate investors, what tools or sources did you learn from when getting started. Can’t find a mentor currently so want to find some highly recommended books or videos. Hey all fellow startups - we’re a small firm and we just had one of our employees poached by a larger firm (Ubisoft) who of course we can’t compete with at this stage. We’re already taking steps to find a replacement but was looking for tips to keep boosted when this occurs. We were told the classic “it’s not us it’s me” statement (and we don’t hold any blame or animosity - relations are good atm, and the pay is fair, but it’s Ubisoft ) but we’re trying to find a way to retain talent.

Bought 2 houses for 75k and put in 25k. The one I renovated appraised for 167k (Trying to sell it now, but it’s sitting with the market). There is also the second home that needs at least 100k of work. We just moved I don’t have the bandwidth to run a project and rent out the renovated property. I also don’t have the business experience and wouldn’t know where to start. How would I find a partner? Should I just sell both?

We are creating NFTs for actors within our network. We have enough fan base to generate traction and looking to build a marketplace (backed by its own blockchain) to list and sell our NFTs.

When launching a company how important is it to get legal advice / have a lawyer look at your company prior to launch? (Already have developed the llc)

Question for 🐠 who have worked for multiple startups. My husband and I both moved to startups in our respective industries. My company is very employee focused. My husband is just burning into his role (sub 1 month) and has noticed a lot of people in his team are let go. Enough that it caused concern immediately. Today, someone at analyst level posted an update in slack. The CEO replied and insult this person, blamed the person for the companies retention issues, and then fired them.

Founded a post revenue SaaS startup (120K TTM), have marketing/sales cofounder whose been part of a few scaled startups with for 1yr, good with conceptual map of driving growth (increase LTV, go upmarket, decrease churn), but, always seems to find an excuse why he can’t drive users (product not ready, churn too high to make effort worth it, no LinkedIn presence.
