Didn’t get in. It had nothing to do with my race/sexuality. I simply didn’t fare well in the application process. So it’s back to the drawing board. TLDR: stop blaming other candidates for your ding

Getting to the 3rd round of interviews for PM positions at tech firms, just having trouble finally converting. Anyone able to help/refer? It is quite frustrating as I've been trying for most of this year, I even applied to a bunch of T15/M7 MBA programs to break into PM work and am considering going.

I am a recent grad(Finance), and my MBA school is not a named institute like Stanford. I would want to work for a consulting co. who is heavily involved in Finance. My significant other works for Booz Allen and is preparing for a team outing. It was suggested, that the team leaders pick a gift to present to the staff during the outing. The gifts were branded items from the BAH company store. The total price per person was a little over $30 to include tax and shipping. Today they were told that since this was not a company sponsored event, the group would have to split the cost among the leaders to pay for the gifts. I think this is tacky. Thoughts?

Does anyone have any advice on where to get simple, nice tortoise shell glasses? I’ve been wearing Warby Parker for the past two years, but their frames always feel slightly too big (I have a round, slightly petite face). Ladies, I agreed to get take on a project with a hybrid travel schedule but after kicking it off, my SM is expecting a lot more travel than a few workshops. Full 3 nights, some back to back weeks, and every 3 weeks for sure. He’s also expecting co-location in between… how did we get here overnight? In the context of recent attacks against Asians, I’m seeing a lot of anti-black rhetoric surface among Asians. There is a lot of generalizing, negative stereotyping, and an attitude of holding the entire black community accountable.
