I have a bullet point under my current position that basically says I act at a senior capacity and serve as primary client contact, and oversee the development of a staff. Hopefully that helps
Yes that’s similar to what I currently have. What I saw from an example resume from a friend at the B4 was that they put it as their job title rather than just a bullet point
Yeah that’s kinda odd to put your actual role on your resume as acting senior as it’s not an actual position. I would just put the bullets that you perform and you can state in an interview how these responsibilities put you in an acting senior role
I have a bullet under my associate experience that says I was given the opportunity to have such a pleasure, but as a separate title is pretty aggressive
Hard to say what someone will think about that. I think if you explained it well enough in an interview it would be fine. Interested to see what others say.
As someone who interviews for the firm, I cringe when people write "acting" level up. We're all in public, we are well aware of what is expected your second year at staff or senior. Leave it off and bring it up in the interview when they ask you to describe your role.
If you had to perform senior role responsibilities during staff level then why not .
What I mean is, they put it as their job “title”, not just a bullet point
I added it to my LinkedIn and not my resume and the reason was as I was coming up in all kinds of searches for senior jobs but wouldn’t leave for a Senior job I could’ve gotten two years ago. I’m normally against it but in this environment seems to have forced it
