What you guys/gals have in your snack stash?
That was my 20s (and likely the 20s for most people here). I hit 30 last year and have spent the time since trying to find more balance - picking hobbies back up, rekindling relationships, spending more time with family, and so on.
The best time to do that was yesterday. The second best time to do that is today.
Working is my bobby, so not a problem so far. Other hobbies, it is hobbies, should not feel have the obligation to do it or master it. It should simply makes you happy. But agree, work life balance is important does not matter how old you are. Health is more important than anything.
I would say things don't get "better". Rather you get better at things. With that being said, your time in your 20s is precious so don't just throw it all away at work. My MD used to tell me that on your death bed, you aren't going to wish you worked a little more. You're going to wish you did something meaningful, whatever that may be.
It gets better after a while. You're making an investment into your career upfront, so let's hope it pays off and you can retire young and rich to do nothing but hobbies for the rest of your life
