I've stopped giving a sh*t at work. It's liberating but also depressing. I've centered my whole life around work and now without it I've realized I don't have anything else in my life

This might be a weird story, but multiple times I found myself in the same situation. I decided I hated my job and therefore I was going to quit. I decided I would quit after my current project so as not to screw my co-workers over. It was so liberating to no longer give a shit. To no longer have to play the stupid games. Oddly, I found that I did better work, cared more about the actual quality of what I did once it wasn’t for anyone but me. Did so well in the project that I got a promotion. The same thing happened a few times over the course of my career. Now I am a partner. I would say that that liberating feeling can lead to great things.

Start working out / weight training. Really opens a whole new word of possibilities

It’s ok - just get some hobbies

Figure out who you truly are. Dig deep and think about your priorities and what would bring you happiness. Work is great, but if it is your only passion in life, you’ll likely remain unfulfilled.
