Never too late! If you are looking for more opportunities and growth, you should look at a larger physician practice or health system. You’ll have a great background that will be very attractive for hiring managers.

It is never too late to build your career. With all those years, now what you have is years of experience that will help you land on a good job.

Never! Write down the pros and cons between jobs. Review compensation, benefits and retirement benefits. Don’t let your emotions cloud your judgment. Good luck!

My wife and I always encourage young and novice nurses to contribute for their retirement and it is also never too late.

No it's not! There is no specific time table for success or happiness out there. There is no one formula for the things you want in life, unless you go and get them. One thing I learned working is that when you aim for nothing, you hit nothing. Go on and get that job you always wanted, good luck!

Thank you I’ve been applying all night.

It's not. Sometimes we need to face our fears and lots of uncertainties. But it's for our own sake, for the development of our career. You got this! Best of luck!

I don't think its too late at all. I say go for it. Do what YOU want to be doing.

Hey everyone, I have bcbs health insurance through my job. I recently got denied for a surgery I need to get. The doctor appealed and did a peer review and it was still denied. Do some companies just offer better insurance then others? Should I look for employment elsewhere? Or will it be the same no matter what company I work for.

Anyone ever bought supplemental income disability insurance? I bought one from my firm this year and has been questioning if that's the right decision. Anyone has any thoughts to share?

I also felt worse because I have learned that I currently have an increase I can put in, meaning pay more to get more benefits due to a pay increase happened a while back, but they told me I have to have a pregnancy exclusion because I'm pregnant. Just felt wrong.

Is it a bad idea to get that to begin with?

Hi team ,

I have started working from jul2019 and I have filed my tax return for 2020 and 2021 tax years.

However I note that there was withholding of some amount in 2017-2018 and 2019 tax years ( withholding from comission received from insurance commission from lic and United india)

I have not filed 2017, 2018, 2019 return as my total income was less than threshold

Is it possible to file return for 2017 , 2018, 2019( all r in refund) now without paying any penalty?

I am classified as an agent selling health insurance but there’s a private email I recently gained access to showing the company is using my broker license and I suspected that since I’m the agent of record on a lot of business. They pay for everything including leads but I’m working as an agent in one email whereas there’s another showing I’m using my license as a broker. I get $43,000 salary plus commissions so averaging $80 K a year. Any advice?

Question about switching jobs then getting pregnant. Just got an offer, but it looks like paid maternity leave doesn’t kick in until I’m there for one continuous year. Has anyone else been in this situation? Does this mean that, if I join in January 2023, get pregnant in April 2023, and then go out on maternity leave in January 2024, that only then I’d be covered? (Of course, can’t really time something like this, but just want to make sure I’m understanding this correctly). Thanks!
