I’ve written down a user flow as tasks in Asana
Then added description inside.
Mapped out how a major feature should look
Linked to the different sections of that documentation as it’s a third party integration

Dev lead keeps asking for more detailed info! I feel I’m being gaslighted as no more info I can give!
Anyone been there? what do I do, I’m 5 seconds away from resigning!
Same dev lead, estimated moving our dns to cloudflare would be 78 hours and refuses to give a development time frame

Sounds like a communication breakdown. I'd set a meeting with the lead dev to refine your tasks. Have them explain to you what information they would need to be able to start the work and ask clarifying questions until you understand what you need to add.

Sounds right

I feel for you. I've run into issues where providing more details just raises expectations of more details. Pretty soon it feels like I'm documenting to an impossible level.

The gaslighting part is a bit weird though. Could you sit down with the dev lead before you start breaking down the user flow, and map what details are needed from a high level? That way you have documented agreement on what is needed at the beginning.

Follow up to this:

I’m the connection between the ceo and cto (business and tech teams)

Line manager is the ceo himself. Went there, he seems to agree that I should be adding more and that current task lists, drive documentation, notion documentation, and design files are not enough!
Am I stupid?

Been there done that
Dev lead says all is good.
However goes on and reports to his manager that it’s not!

I’m going nuts

It feels like it.
His refusal to look at documentation and fighting it before he does is simply not professional!

Third party, my manager doesn’t want to get involved. He says it will become he said she said issues and I feel my manager doesn’t listen hard enough that this is a valid concern.

So I had quite a tense interaction with my therapist today during our session where I felt he stated his opinion too strongly. As a result, I felt unheard and misunderstood. I didn’t come to therapy to feel worse about myself. Is this normal? Has somebody encountered this with their therapist? How do you navigate it?

Hi fishes,

got the offer from
BNY Mellon | Pershing BNY Mellon Corporation Pune, India.

The offer letter mentions only fixed pay. HR told me that PF (employer), gratuity, and bonus (8%) are over and above fixed pay. But there is no mention of a bonus anywhere on offer. is this correct or am I getting tricked by HR? Help from current and ex BNYs is much appreciated.
