Holiday alone getaway: Jackson Hole or Park City?

Both are great choices. Maybe Jackson since it is harder to get to and you only have to worry about yourself. (Park city is very accessible at any point in the future)

What are your goals?

If that’s your goal and not skiing or having city life/ bar scene then you want the cushy spots- ie four seasons at Jackson and St Regis at Deer Valley!

like

Park City, plus you have SLC close by and more ski resorts to choose from.

Depends on what you want and if you ski or snowboard. Some places (Alta, Deer Valley) are ski only. If you want that Apres vibe then it’s Park City Resort (but a little too touristy for my taste), if you want local it’s power mountain, Brighton, solitude. Also depends on skill, slopes on the SLC side (cottonwood) are significantly harder!

like

Ohh yeah I’d do park city. Easy to get to from SLC and like others said you can hit multiple resorts easily

Park City. Both are great but single city options are better in Utah.

Honestly if you just want to run away and have some personal time (not do skiing or snowboarding) id suggest Telluride. Heard it's also amazing for winter sports.

Would you leave before busy season if you get an offer in December before the holiday break or would you negotiate your start date to try to stay through the busy season (6 weeks) due to staff shortages? I feel like I’m fucking my team over but also am so over audit and all the hours/work they’re giving me due to staff shortages.
