Anyone else feel a little uneasy that the industry press is praising a CMO who fired the agency who resurrected KFC, ran one of the most brutal pitch processes in years and has immediately made the work much worse?

What's the deal with BBDO LA?
How’s R/GA NYC?
Where is the lie

It’s havas telling their employees that they don’t care if they’re unhappy.
Yeah I think that’s what they call a hostile work environment.
He’s the perfect Creative for the Trump era. I’d like to say he’s gonna get the boot ... but he’ll probably be promoted. Gross.
“yikes.” -advertising
So petty. By any chance did he leave a list of recruiters email addresses in agencies across nyc?
He zoomed in on that “I’m embarrassed to work here” post...I’m embarrassed to be in the industry with that guy and I don’t even work at Havas. I hope he sees this.
Seriously, what ceo would see that and think, “yep, the creative department seems to be doing just fine."
Is this in their lobby?? Can you imagine a client coming in?
Sorry OP, but this is nothing about white males. This guy is a full grown child. Pitching a tantrum
Man, if he’s not careful, they’re going to lose the Lobby account - it’s their biggest client.
On one hand it’s absolutely telling that this is their reaction. Rather than trying to figure out what the issues are and fixing them, he turns it into an art project.
On the other hand that’s exactly what we do for a living.
What a thoughtful guy
SD2, I’m in the Havas Company bowl and I can openly say these comments represent a small fraction of the content in our bowl, and were reported and ultimately taken down by the very same employees Jason is excoriating. There was ample opportunity for Jason to keep the dialogue “in the family” as it appears other companies like Ogilvy are doing. But he chose to go public and demean us instead. This is absolutely unacceptable and the fact he’s doubling down on IG only tells his employees where his core interests lie: his own public perception and not the integrity of Havas. He should step down immediately.
Maybe Kanye was hired as new Chief Creative Executive Creative Director and this was his contribution
“We assume you love working at havas but if you are not happy in your role, you don’t have to continue feeling that way. Conversely, if we see that this is not your jam, we are going to raise this with you.” Wow. Such hostility. Such man-baby fragility. Leadership by hissy fit.
By the way, I was just reported for abuse for calling Havas ceo an “ultra-bro”
Wow.
This guy is not fully baked. What a stupid stunt to pull on your own people.
God this tool needs to be slapped in the brain.
What’s funny is that recently leaving havas, I HAVE had to explain this shit to recruiters. Luckily they are understanding.
Go look at his Instagram story to see pics of specific posts from the wall. He’s printed out a homophobic slur directed at an employee, and put it on the wall of the agency. How is this not an immediately fireable offense?
