We just got a separate rider on our home owners and renters insurance. Super cheap, maybe $5 a month more? Very easy too.

like

Same -a personal articles rider for my jewelry, and a "vault policy" for a more expensive piece that lives in a safe deposit box.

Jewelers mutual is the leading answer in the industry. Highly recommend.

I'm also in NYC and tacked on a jewelry policy to my renter's insurance with Lemonade. Great deal and easy to work

While I have a rider on my homeowners for a watch, you might want to find out about deductibles. For my carbon fiber road bike ($4k), it made more sense to get a standalone bike policy. The reason was the deductible was much lower for the bike policy. A loss on the bike if on my homeowners would have cost me a lot more out of pocket before hitting the deductible according to the agent. Just a question to ask when comparing different approaches.

Get a rider on your home policy make sure you get it appraised, cost of the rider is based on the amount

State Farm has personal items policies im sure others do too

i feel like staying in consulting isn’t a matter of how efficient/hardworking you are. it’s about your personality’s ability to let the “bad” flow over your shoulders more easily than others who might harbor and resent the lifestyle. I'm a Registered Nurse who's been working as a sales professional for the last 11yrs. Ironically, none of the sales jobs I've been recruited for have been in healthcare. They've all been in the industrial setting (O&G, Chemicals, etc). I just moved across the country for my husband's job, and the new job I found is terrible. I'm looking to get back to my roots in healthcare and apply my sales experience to that sector, but I'm not getting any calls back for this sector. What am I doing wrong?

I’ve always gotten the advice that when you want to switch jobs you should take interviews from places you’re not actually interested in, so you can understand your value in the market and have better negotiating power. I’m doing that rn - took a couple interviews to gauge my skills, my market value, and see what I need to work on for interviews that I actually care about. However, I feel really guilty about wasting their time and going all the way knowing I’ll just say no at the end. Wwyd?
