Hi all. Looking for someone who has insights into the Programmatic Solutions Consultant role. I have been looking for a new role recently and this one stood out to me. Anyone here I can DM so I can do some due diligence before I apply. Thanks and have a great week everyone!
I am looking into hiring Castor Abbott for their marketing services... anyone have any experience working with them?
What are the exit opportunities like for Management Consultants at Accenture? Would love if you could comment a couple exits you’ve heard of that are attainable (not just a one off fluke) to help guide my next step.
I left my consulting role of my own accord earlier this year (pre-COVID), primarily for WLB reasons. Notably, I was always rated a “top performer” and left on very good terms. I did not have a job lined up because I wanted to get out of the rat race for a bit and enjoy life. With the job search severely tougher than expected and repeated, explicit offers from my former partners to rejoin, I start to feel tempted. => See below...
I started a job earlier this year and it didn’t turn out to be what I thought it was. How do I position myself to make light of this situation as I’m applying elsewhere?
Should I be ok with a 50% travel role?
I'm applying/attending job interviews for financial analyst type roles in industry from Big4. I don't really have an industry that I'm really passionate about. I'm paranoid that I'll exit and get stuck in a specific industry. Did any of you have issues moving between industries? How did you manage to be competitive or overcome that issue when changing industries? Thanks!
Hi All, I have received an interview call from Capgemini India for Market Research Analyst role and the interview is on 28th May. Will be grateful enough if someone can guide me more on this role.
Hi there! I’m being vetted for a position that I’d have to relocate for, they mentioned they’d pay for relocation. This would be my first role in senior leadership, and I’m just looking for tips on negotiating pay and other components of my offer letter. I’ve previously had an issue where I was brought in way under value, and it took 2 years to get a benchmarking raise. I just want to position myself highly upfront this time. Any ideas other than base pay I could and should negotiate? Thanks!
Hey folks, does anyone know much about FSG? Have an interview with them for a consulting role. Anyone has interview/case insights? Also - is it okay to reach out to employees there on LinkedIn (maybe in other offices)? Thanks!
Any agencies in San Francisco hiring? (preferably independent but I'm good for anything really)
I’m seeing a lot of posts where leadership has been committed to making changes, but one thing I’ve noticed no one speaking about is transparency in pay equity. Ensuring there’s diversity in hiring future employees is great, but what are they doing to support pay equity with their current BIPOC employees. How can we ask leaders to release this type of data?
Is this just happening with me? Everytime the panel says explicitly to me that I am a great match for the role and that they are passing positive feedback for my next round, recruiter goes Mia for reasons unknown 😢😢 How will I ever get out?!
Was in process interviewing with one team. Role got internally filled. Recruiter put me in play for another team. Interview did not go well - not really a fit. Can I ask to be put in play for another team or no?

Hi Fishes Have few questions about JPMC:- How is JPMC culture and job security? How much should one expect from JPMC for VP (Java) position in Hydrabad with 16+ YOE ?
I m interviewing for a BSA Salesforce role at Google. What can i expect in first round of Solution Design phone call. What skills do I need to refresh. Any guideline is much appreciated as I am giving an interview after 3 years.
27yo that left consulting to go into real estate private equity. After 2 years of experience had to start at the analyst level and took a small paycut. Have an offer to now re-join consulting with a much higher salary 30k more at least. My PERE firm is small and it’ll probably take me 2-3 years to make those 30k back. Am I overthinking or should i pursue the money when the end goal is to retire as early as possible?
For those of you who had to go through egg freezing but didn’t have insurance cover your medicines (except lupron which is usually covered), which discounts did you apply to the other three drugs to minimize the cost? ~7k for injections is so much...
Anyone know how much credit Suisse matches for 401k? Is it 6%? Also, do they contribute an additional 3% for free like some other firms?
Recently started at Bain (post MBA), but was given opportunity to join a first time fund ($200m AUM). Pay is 50% more. Ideally would like to stay for ~2 years at Bain before making a switch like this to buy-side. How likely are opportunities like this to come down the road? Don’t want to jump the gun and forego having a Bain credential. Help!
Since graduating college 4.5 years ago I’ve worked at three marketing agencies averaging a year and two months at each. I took four months off earlier this year after a layoff to study data science. I’m now back in digital marketing on month six of my current job. How long should I stay at my current company? I’ve been told two years minimum which is unfortunate because if I leave in six months I’ll make a lot more money on the market.
Can we still expense overtime meals?
Drove through downtown Santa Barbara last night. Restaurants were doing indoor dining and there were lots of crowds with no masks. What are you all seeing this holiday weekend?

Due to social distancing rules, when the kids come into school in the morning, they have to immediately report to their classrooms. I get it, but I also don't have time to entertain them as I'm prepping for class. What can I do to keep them busy?
just bc I saw some uneducated BCG consultant go off on affirmative action today ...affirmative action/diversity hiring doesnt tip the scale in favor of minorities, it balances the scale
Was a corporate analyst and recently accepted a job as an auditor for the state/government. Can this role have any complications if in the future I try to get back in the private sector or corporate finance?

ZS vs KPMG vs Roland Berger? US NE office Have an offer to join rb or zs trying to determine if I should. strategy work at KPMG almost non existent in my practice. Not super hyped on healthcare but also don’t mind it. What are your thoughts? It’s basically ZS brand in NA seems to be better than RB, RB has more diverse clients and strong brand in EU
Is it okay to tell your boss you aren’t feeling well and need to take a sick day because of medication side effects? We are going into the office later in the week and I don’t want her to think I have something contagious. Started new meds and the side effects are intense today so I’m just off my game and need to log off, but not sure if that’s inappropriate or TMI.
Today I have joined KPMG global services and I was shocked to hear one of their policy about vehicle parking. Employees below Manager level are not given any parking space for neither two-wheelers nor four Wheeler across all the offices in India. They said if you are commuting by your vehicle you have to figure it out on your own about the parking. I mean what kind of lunatics make these policies. Do they think all the people below Manager level can not own a vehicle. Is it justifiable?
