Hi all , need a suggestion. I am currently getting an offer of 40 lpa in India with one of the FAANG companies . The role is not in a fancy team and is okayish.

My company has promised me a transfer to KL Malaysia with a salary of 2,40,000 MYR (~43 lpa) but since I am in consulting , my options would remain open in terms of exit and this can open up South East Asia market for me.

I’m feeling guilty for feeling burnt out. I’m a second year in a quasi-lit role and my hours are not that bad (well below 2000), but I am exhausted by work and wracked with anxiety all the time. I feel terrible complaining because my peers bill so much more than me. I do incident response and my hours are unpredictable, so maybe that’s it, but I don’t know. Even when it’s slow I feel terrible. I worked for years before law school and didn’t feel this way. Is anyone else in the same boat?

I’m interviewing for an enterprise project manager for a county government entity. The interviewer OPENED the interview by stating the salary range, I’m guessing to weed out those who would not be interested in the stated range, which seemed very low, even for government. Does $65k seem low for this sort of role? I’ve interviewed mostly with tech companies, and nothing has started at less than $100k/annually. Benefits are pretty unremarkable.

I've worked as an HR Generalist and Business Partner for over 15 years, and I'm ready to do something else. I have some pretty significant experience in compensation and I'd like to pivot into a role that's focused there. I know there are some certifications available through SHRM and World at Work - any thoughts from those in Comp whether these would compliment hands on work experience and if they might improve my chances of getting noticed for a role in Comp?

Curious what’s a fair salary in MA? What is a responsible salary to ask for as a dietitian in the greater Seattle area? Most jobs are offering 70-75,000$ and although that is a good salary I can’t afford to live around Seattle if I accept that. I’ve been a dietitian for 5 years and it seems like dietitians aren’t paid fairly for the work load we are expected to take on.

Is 5 YOE considered entry level or associate? When I apply to associate level jobs I get nothing but rejections. And all the entry level jobs call for new grads or people with under 3 YOE.

I’m so confused. How do recruiters look at someone with 5 YOE? What level is that considered?

The product was not ready to really hire and mentor someone with entry level experience, and due to that my role has been eliminated with my las day being May 6th. Anyone on income based loan repayment? Can’t decide whether to try to pay off ASAP Dave Ramsey-style or pay as little as possible, let interest balloon and have the balance “forgiven.” Both seem equally bad at this point (> $200k in loans), especially when income is projected to increase over time. Thoughts?
